I was on google maps looking around for a "beginner" spot saltwater kayaking. I saw this cove that seems like a great place to give it a try. I see a huge parking lot next to "the fisherman" (restaurant maybe) on Groton long point rd. On the side of the parking lot near the water is a bunch of kayaks. Does anyone have any info on this spot? Is it legal and safe to launch here? What kind of fishing should I expect? Anyone want to give it a try with me? I'm thinking of heading up there one morning this week or weekend because high tide will be coming in and seems to be the best timing. I also looked at Black Hall river but not really sure about that one either. Any info would be helpful or suggestions on better spots. Experienced company would be best! Thanks |
